Wooden Table Baking Company was inspired by founder Andrés Ozzuna’s childhood memories of baking beside his grandmother, Tomasa, around the family’s wooden kitchen table in San Isidro, just outside Buenos Aires. After moving to California, Andrés brought those treasured recipes and traditions with him—and named the company for the table where it all began.
At the heart of the collection are alfajores, one of Argentina’s most beloved desserts. These delicate sandwich cookies pair soft, tender cookies with rich dulce de leche and may be finished with chocolate, coconut, powdered sugar or other irresistible touches. If you’ve never experienced an alfajor, consider this your delicious introduction.
But don’t stop there. Wooden Table’s expansive collection includes traditional and chocolate alfajores, individually wrapped treats, shortbread and tea cookies, dulce de leche confections, assorted dessert boxes and beautifully packaged gifts for birthdays, holidays, thank-yous—or simply making an ordinary day sweeter. Every treat is handcrafted in small batches in California using traditional Argentine inspiration, quality ingredients and no artificial flavors.
