When Mission Resort + Club asked Captain Crazy’s to create a signature snack mix, they weren’t looking for an ordinary assortment placed inside a branded bag. They wanted something developed especially for the resort—something with personality, a hint of Spanish influence and a genuine sense of place.
That is how Mission Mix was born.
A Central Florida Destination
Located among the rolling hills and lakes of Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida, Mission Resort + Club is known for its distinctive Spanish Colonial architecture, two golf courses, resort dining, spa, beautiful grounds and warm hospitality.
It is an impressive destination, but what stands out most is the thought given to the guest experience. From the architecture and landscaping to the food, amenities and gathering spaces, the details feel intentional.
Naturally, we believe snacks should be intentional too.
Creating a Mix That Belonged at Mission
Developing a custom snack mix is one of our favorite kinds of collaboration. We don’t simply rename an existing product. We think about the business, its customers and the experience the finished mix needs to create.
For Mission Resort + Club, the goal was a distinctive blend with a Spanish-inspired personality that complemented the resort’s atmosphere.
The result was Mission Mix—a bold combination of premium mixed nuts, fava beans, golden chickpeas, mini oyster crackers and crunchy corn nuts, all seasoned with our signature Spanish spice blend. It is savory, crunchy and finished with just a hint of heat.
Packaged with Mission Resort + Club branding, the mix was handcrafted exclusively for the resort.

More Than a Logo on a Bag
There is a difference between private labeling and creating a signature product.
Private labeling gives a business the opportunity to offer an established product under its own brand. A custom mix goes further: the product itself is developed to reflect that particular business.
That is what makes projects like Mission Mix so much fun. The finished snack becomes part of the customer’s story—whether it is served at an event, placed in a welcome basket, offered as a guest amenity or shared over drinks.
Mission Mix is now among the guest enhancements available at the resort, giving visitors another memorable taste of their stay.
And based on what happened when this bowl appeared, sharing may require quick reflexes.
Experiencing Mission for Ourselves
Recently, nine of us visited Mission Resort + Club to enjoy Visit Orlando’s Magical Dining at the newly reimagined Conquistador Bar & Restaurant.
The restaurant pairs the resort’s Spanish influence with a fresh, contemporary atmosphere. We gathered around the table, enjoyed a wonderful three-course dinner and had the kind of evening that reminds you how much a beautiful setting, good food and good company matter.
From fresh, colorful starters to beautifully presented entrées and dessert, the meal gave us an even greater appreciation for the experience Mission creates for its guests.
Of course, seeing Mission Mix served in the very setting that inspired it was particularly special for us. A custom product is one thing when we are developing, roasting and packaging it. Seeing people gathered around a bowl, reaching in for another handful, is when the idea becomes real.
